Little question & Advise

Ive got a 5970 @ 900/1200

i was wondering if i could slap in a 5870 and run it at same speed and it works ok. or do i have to have 2 of the same card.

or would it be best to splash out the extra and get another 5970 and have them running off the same bios's

Yes it will work fine.

You would have tri-fire working perfectly

2x 5970 dont work well together.

tri-fire is rly the limit

saves me a little money then if 2x 5970 dont work well.

ill get a new 5870 and slap it in for the extra power
