Can you use a apple monitor with a PC ?

That Apple monitor has a the Intel designed Thunderbolt port which while physically the same as a m-Dp is however electrically different. There are some motherboards available which have a Thunderbolt adapter, but as of yet AFAIK there are no PCI-E graphics cards available.
The non Thunderbolt Apple LED Cinema Display with m-Dp is still available and AFAIK should work okay with a "normal PC system".
