hi, i was wondering if i could put a pci card in and use that in conjunction with an agp card to have dual screens?

before you ask why, it is a long story! but either way, will this work?

thanks

my friend is doing this, running one monitor from a radeon 7000 for a desktop and his AGP x800xl runs games, you have to remember using cards that old as a second is now a bad plan, as drivers dont include them any more :)

Yep. This should work.

With my current motherboard (see sig) you can have 3 cards: one each in PCI-E, AGP and PCI, potentially running 6 monitors!

I don't intend to try this by the way.
