as in the title really, I MAY be upgrading my 6800 to a X1900 and I would like to know if I am able to put 2 of these cards in crossfire ? also as I'm a noob abour graphics is Crossfire ati's equivalent of SLI ?

Yes Crossfire is ATIs dual graphics card solution but you cannot put a Crossfire setup on an SLi motherboard or vice versa, a single graphics card will work fine from either manufacturer and you should even be able to plug in two graphics cards but not have them working in tandem (actually there may be hacked drivers that allow it in some circumstances but I don't know enough about that). :)

they work by reprogramming the BIOS i think, in effect like me messing with your brain and making you bark instead of talk, thinking your a dog rather than a human :)
