Can you use PayPal balance on OCuk?

Hi guys. I just sold my 1080 and looking for 2070 super.
Found a gigabyte I'm interested in but i want to pay through PayPal and it doesn't let me to use my £255 balance. I only have the option for credit or debit card. Anybody had problems like that?

Once you get to paypal, it should allow you to use your paypal balance and then top the rest up with a card.

Ive got fed up with paypal holding my money all the time everytime I sell something, I closed my account, only accept bank transfers, Google Pay or Amazon Pay now, if your funds are on hold then you wont be able to use your paypal balance until the buyer has received your item, and then it can still be upto 7 days before they release it.

The problem is PayPal balance option is not showing up... I bought few stuff of eBay yesterday and everything was fine.

Yeah they keep holding my money too . Apparently you need 20+ succesfull selling transactions to be a "trusted seller" and after that your money won't be on hold anymore when you sell.

thats a paypal issue not ocuk, ocuk will not have an impact on the payment source used for paypal..

LOL dont believe it, ive been selling on there for years, I have nearly 1000 feedback, and they still hold my money.

It's possible you're right, that's what they told me when I moaned about my money being held hostage.

Anyway I contacted PayPal and it was a bug in the system. I already paid half with my balance half cc. Now wish me luck as the payment is still processing and OCuk had only 1 windforce in stock lol.

paypal make nearly all their money on "holding" your money. But it does make sense, as you could be sending out sacks of potatoes instead of Ipads
