Can you use this CPU load test and post what CPU temp & cooler you got

I'm not being funny, but their last news update was nearly two years ago, and that was that Kaspersky was detecting a Trojan. Do not be surprised if no one else wants to run this.

Why this? IBT and Prime95 are both widely used already on this forum for CPU loading/stability testing.

OCCT is pretty intensive. Similar to Intel burn test. When stress testing I don't use this anymore. This test really hits the CPU temperature and raises it very high very quickly. I'd prefer to run a prolonged test of Prime95.

I Remember went i ran the PSU test about a year ago and watch my wattage meter jump up to over 700watts and my system shut down :D

LinX/IBT tend to run about 3c ono higher per core for me compared to p95.

Cooler is a prolimatech super mega with dual akasa vipers.

If your temps are good and system is stable in P95 your pretty much guaranteed to have a stable system... It's free and does the job... why use anything else?

What settings do you want people to run (the full hour test?), and are there particular CPU's you are interested in?

I've just run a 10 minute test on my Q9400 @ 3.8GHz and hit a top temperature of 45C. That's using a Zalman CNPS9900LED. Also, I got bored after 5 minutes and cancelled it - sorry, short attention span! :)

Just running the cpu test for 5 to 10 minutes will be long enough to get a stable CPU temp reading..

Am just interested in see what temps people are getting with different coolers
(I know there are many things that are going to effect the reading like different cases/room temps/fans/thermal compounds/etc)

On linpack cpu test i get:-

55c
Noctua NH-D14 @ 5v
955 BE @ 4.2Ghz @ 1.525v

But for stress testing I do prefer to use prime95 on blend

Cant seem to get occt to run, click to start either the linpack or cpu test, but coretemp shows cpu usage at minimum.

If you run it on test type auto for the first minute it logs temeratures and voltages before it starts, if you change it to infinite it'll start straight away
