i know this is a strange one but my flat mate is getting a new car and the insurance for him will cost £480 but if he adds me as a friend it'll be £860. now this is where it gets strange if i'm put on his policy as partner the whole policy will only cost £415 :)

Are you Kevin James and your mate is Adam Sandler? :p

If you crash just hold hands till its all over. :)

But have either have you currently got a partner? shared credit etc, could be sticky :p

i'm currently single and his g/f is living in china. we have our names down on the council tax thats about it.

Yeah, it would be so difficult to ask friends/neighbours/work colleagues if they thought they could get out of or reduce liability for a large claim...

A lot of gay people don't chose to share this information with neighbours or work colleagues. I'm living with a guy, the neighhbours may or may not think we're a couple (we're not) and I couldn't care either way.
