I set my RAM timing up as follows :

(from top to bottom in the BIOS) 3-8-4-4. Cas set to 3, tras set to 8, trcd set to 4, and trp set to 4. I also had to change my ram to 2.8v.

I ran like that for a few weeks , Then while i was haveing a move around on my descktop i clicked on CPU-Z and i noticed it had changed and was now

3-5-5-10

How can this be ? , I have not made any change to the bios .
It all seems to be running ok but i have noticed that in some games i get a pause of about half a second every few mins .

Any help here would be good

Thanks

Do you have a motherboard with dual bios, it's possible, something locked up at boot time, and your system restored the bios to a safe working version, I have a Gigabyte board that can do this.
