I'm off to Canada in July for a wedding and would like to spend a couple of weeks seeing the sights. I've got to be in Vancouver for about three days, thes rest of the two and a bit weeks is a free for all, any must sees? I don't mind travelling around within reason

The whole of BC is pretty sweet :p

I spent a week on Vancouver Island which was great - You take the ferry there and go past and around other islands nearby - the view is incredible :)

Pop in and say hello to my Auntie Barbara, she lives in Port Alice, Vancouver Island....cheers fella.

:)

Whistler is pretty nice at that time of year, lots of mountain biking if that's your thing or try summer skiing on the Blackcomb Glacier. Even if you just spent most of your time in Vancouver I doubt you'd run out of things to do - I'd suggest a trip round Stanley Park while you're there though, either hire a bike or rollerblades to do it as it's a healthy distance to go right round mind.

niagra falls is the obvious one

Agreed,

Also check out Toronto.

And then go up the CN Tower:eek: and check out the glass floor.

The whole place sounds like it's amazing! I get the impression from the Internetz that two weeks is not enough, and I'll probably end up wanting to live there, a bit like my mate when he left blighty!

Whistler does look great! My parents went there and thought it was great - They came back and said they went Mountain Biking - I almost didn't believe them at first :p

They have some great ski resorts there aswell - Will definitely make a trip there one day :)

get yourself up to the okanagon, they have a mad climate there, and it's where loads of wineries are, great place in the summer!
otherwise i would head onto vancouver island, tofino is the place all the surfers head for so some fun to be had - also check out the gulf islands if you get the chance there's way too much to see!!
you could always book a kayak trip, i know you said you're not outdoorsy but seeing the orca whales is pretty special, and on these trips they take all your bags/food around so you only have to propell yourself along!
