I don’t know why they keep making these generic, cookie cutter action movies with semi-menopausal females in the lead role

They are absolutely garbage for the most part, the only decent one of late was Atomic Blonde.

As much as I like seeing more of Kate Beckinsale - this is definitely a low budget/low quality "straight to DVD/VHS" level of film which can't really be expected to make any money at all (being streamed), so why/how do these type of films still keep getting made?
