Cancel Netflix? Price increase again

Just got the price update email. Anyone else thinking about cancelling? 170 quid per year now.

Seems most of the new shows are not for my taste and only looking forward to the Witcher, Lost in space and stranger things.

I have do pay for Prime, and also Disney+ and with the launching of Star it seems fantastic value.

I do have 3 daughters so I'm playing with fire even thinking about it lol.

Well I got home from work yesterday to house full of screaming women and girl's as Netflix sub ran out.

Fired up a VPN and tried the Turkish trick this morning and seems to be working. Not sure if they will reverse the transaction.

Yeah the web page. I just picked my package hit reactivate then that phone number popup appeared. I just closed it without entering any details.

I believe it only works if you are reactivating an expired account with the same same card that's been stored.

Bank just hit me with a 50p transaction fee. Still 5.60 odd still a lot cheaper than 14

Give them some time when they see more cancelations and start loosing to Disney they will re think the price increase.

Netflix would have been a straight up cancel only for there is 4 females in my house even at the lower price point. Only thing I'm enjoying ATM is season 3 of Ash vs evil dead which I have already watched.

Would definitely like to lower the current £13.99/m charge if possible.

It has to be an account that's already been live and has an active card. Won't work on new set ups. Having a phone number linked to the account also might be a problem.
Cancel>VPN turkey>private web> reactivate without updating payment.
I did get asked to enter a phone number after I reactivated the account but I just hit the small X's.
