Cancel XBox Live

Hi all

I'm looking to cancel my Live subscription, searching online it says you can do it online through your account management by turning Auto-Renew off. Trouble is, as expected the description is very vague and it doesn't explain where this option is to turn off

I can't phone until I get home and would like to get it done now before I forget

Have they since removed the ability to do it online?

Can't do it online. I had to ring them to cancel it.

I was hoping that wasn't the case. Last time I cancelled over the phone it was so awkward. 100 questions about why and telling me what I miss out on

there was the option of turning off auto renew but it never worked on my debit card and i found they had been charging me :mad:

. A 10min phone call got it cancelled.

Pre-paid cards only for me now

Yes,you cant turn auto renew off on the web in the UK for some reason. Everytime I buy amonth auto renew switches on automatically so I have to ring them up. I found it's quicker on the phone if you don't say "I want to cancel" rather just "Can you turn auto renew off please" that way they don't start tryingto bribe you with MS points :rolleyes:

Just tell them to STFU and cancel it.
