Cancelled SkyQ, do they contact afterwards, do they do the merry go round thing of throwing offers out etc?

16 years a customer, £70 now, best they offered was £47 for a basic package with UHD.

Need to start looking at Freesat boxes

I cancelled a few weeks ago, they haven't been as proactive as they used to be when I would cancel. Phone calls, offers through the post etc., nothing like that. I have sent all my kit back too.

We cancelled Sky a few months ago, have had a couple of phone calls and mail from them since, nothing too OTT. We went back to Freeview, can't beat the price (free).

The only catch with SkyQ is now you have to send your kit back. You could keep the previous HD boxes and just run freeview via that. Partly why not jumped and got SkyQ yet.

Need to look at changing the LNB on the dish and will go freesat, prime and Apple TV+

Fairly large plex media collection too

Not bothered about that tbh. It’ll get factory reset and sent back. They’ve stipulated HDMI cables need to be included. Wtf. Oh well, I’m sure I have some crappy ones somewhere

I turned on marketing and I get a weekly flyer addressed to me begging me to return. The flyer has dropped from £46 to £37/mo but it has been over 6 months now. The website usually has winback offers after a period of time but this doesn't work on my account, can't even sign up for full price on it. The reason I cancelled mine was because they increased it from £33/mo to £45 mid contract.
