Cancelling AOL

has anyone had experience with Cancelling AOL, i have currently 11 months left of my £11 a month contract, now i know i will have to pay that upfront and im presuming there will be some cancellation fee, but can't seem to find how much it will be, i've just been offered BT infinity and free evening and weekend calls for £2 cheaper than im paying for AOL and BT phoneline with Line rental, i know paying AOL counters the saving, but i'm so tempted by the unlimited 40meg (or thereabouts) goodness... oh and is there a way to keep my AOL email address, or is there a decent alternative that i can use for all the online stuff i have thats registered to them address's

I doubt if you can keep your AOL email as it'll be tied to your AOL account.

When i cancelled my aol they asked me if i wanted to keep my email when i said yes they tried to charge me £2.50 a month to keep it. This was three years ago now so not sure if it has changed now.

I used to be with AOL, I changed to BE about 18 months ago and I still use the AOL email addresses no problems.

You keep your AOL emails, I also moved from AOL to BE a couple of years ago.
