cancelling gold?

Its not a joke, its the terms of the service. If you don't like them don't sign up.
So a company can treat any consumers like crap then as long as it's in their terms of service?

I had an email message telling me my subscription would automatically renew recently even though I got rid of my 360 ages ago - luckily the card I used to subscride had expired though. If I buy another 360 later in the year does that mean my account will be suspended?

I just don't see the point of signing up for something and then bitching about it when they do what they said they would when you signed up.

I think its a crap system and a poor way to handle things, but at the end of the day I knew the deal when I signed up four years ago.

Yeah but who actually reads terms and conditions before signing up for stuff? I don't, but then I wouldn't expect a clause like that to be in it in the first place tbh.

am i right in thinking that if you pay by card and put in a redeem code for a 1 month trial it will cancel out the card payment and revert to silver when the months trial has ended via the redeem code earlier?

Surely that is why you should read them? You know what they say when you ASSUME, it makes an ASS out of U and ME. Well not me because I did read them and knew what to expect. :)

Be good to know if it does :)
