If I was to do this, would i have to pay the remaining months off? Will it default my name if I cancel the direct debit?

There customer service has been that **** this week i am no longer wanting to be in a contract with them. Rang them yesterday to be fed bull**** and lies and that they will ring me back which never happened, same happened today twice with being fed bull**** to just get me to put the phone down. Was also cut off when in hold for ages.

Will go into a store when I have time, least I should be able to have a conversation with someone where we can understand each other.

Used personal hotspot for the last year and half and now they have decided they want me to pay for it on top of the £39 a month I already pay (which was £35 when I set up the contract, but they have upped it because of the tax rise and some other pretend rubbish... To me I signed a contract for paying £35, nothing more)

Obviously if this would cause a default, I'll just have to suck it up and wait till October to cancel. I really don't need the contract anymore, I use about 300minutes out of 1200 a month and do the odd text, main reason for keeping happy with it is because the personal hotspot internet was a very useful for me and my iPad.

Not to mention I binned the useless phone I got off them (SGS) which always overheated and was missing the 3 button load up reset option. Ended up just buying a new 4S from the applestore.

Rant over.

If you can prove that tethering was part of the contract you signed and they have now withdrawn it then you have a case.

The lady I spoke to yesterday said that because I have already had access to this for the last year and half, that I should continue to have it and that she has re-activated it and will ring me back later to confirm its working again.

Now I believe she only said this to end the call, because the same thing happened this morning. Then when I have rang them this evening they have told me to download something from the app store that will allow this at £6 a month. They can balls...

Do not default against a mobile company, it is a great way to lose credit rating extremely quickly. If it overheated why didn't you send it back to get repaired? you signed up to a contract which specifically had a clause in it saying they could raise the price, you realise this right?

All sorted now, they rang me and said sorry and have changed my plan to a bigger one for cheaper than I am paying now.

They text me a survey what I moaned and groaned on and gave them 0 out of 10. They rang me a hour later to sort it.
