Cancelling Windows Repair ... ?

Hi guys..

Well, i've recently purchased a new motherboard + CPU, I know im normally supposed to back up and format if a setup changes, but I have no way of doing that at the moment... anyways, the problem is, im getting BSOD's before booting into Windows. It loads, the keyboard lights flash and as its about to go to the login screen it comes up with a BSOD, so I tried a Windows Repair (worked for me before :P). Now, it copies/deletes all the files and then restarts to continue the normal WinXP setup. The problem is that it doesn't get far enough into Windows to go to the WinXP setup to finish the repair, so im stuck.

Now, i've tried getting in via Safe Mode, but it says "The Windows XP setup cannot be run in Safe Mode, setup will now restart" ... it still wants to run the Windows Repair by the looks of things, so my question is (I have a 40gb which I can boot into, it is my C: drive, and from there I can access everything on the D: which is the messed up one), is there any way I can tell Windows not to continue with the Windows Repair at start up so I can atleast get into Safe Mode and uninstall all my drivers? This would ultimately fix my problem...

Thanks in advance! :)
