Candids - NO JUDGES!!

Went along to the melton mowbray food festival today int he hope of getting some candid shots for the competition. it was very strange to start with, i felt almost embarrased to take shots but by the time i came away it was almost secondnature.

anyway here are some shots im thinking of entering into the comp.

comments and critique very welcome and be harsh if needs be, this will hopefully help me decide.

I would say the best candid from the lot os probably the last one, #7 or maybe #6

tried a shot in black and white after cykeys suggestion. i think it adds something to the shot.

No. 7 is probably what I'd use. 5 is ok too. Either would work best in b&w as you've tried with 5.

2 cracks me up. He looks like Jacko in the middle of some dance move/like you've busted up one of his homies/about to plant one on you

Nice pictures, i know what you mean about being embarasses about taking photos, but yeh it does always ware off. If i had to pick one for the candids competition i would pick the last one, god that bloke looks crazy lol, and i would crop it a bit to isolate just him a little bit more.
