I have a low powered laptop that is struggling to run candy crush when I use chrome - the animations are slow and it's laggy.
If I use IE then it runs fine but that means I have to use IE :P

What would cause this?

my guess would be different versions of flash (assuming it's a flash game)?? i doubt there is much you can do except make sure you're running the newest version possible. and if you have to use IE for one game then it's hardly the end of the world... :p

Go into settings, "Show advanced setting...", and under "Privacy" click "Content settings...", then under "Plug-ins" click "Disable individual plug-ins...".

Now for "Adobe Flash Player" you will see two files, one being the built in Flash and the one you install from Adobe's site. Disable the internal one and see if that helps.

Although recently I have noticed Chrome has been keeping up with the Flash version for their inbuilt one.
