Cannock chase - worth going?

Im in Wiltshire, so its 2.5 hours drive. Me and the Wife want to go somewhere next weekend. She wont be riding but I'll probably want to spend 4-5 hours riding.

Is it worth the drive / ride and is there anything for her to do whilst im shredding the trails?

the 'follow the dog' is 7miles and the new trail is 7 miles extension, So may do them a few times. give me your opinions :)
This is all assuming that TFtuned and sort my revs out for next weekend.

I've never really looked around for what else there is to do if your not riding but I dont think theres much, its definately worth a ride though love the new trail extension
 
She could do Go Ape and/or sit in the cafe and drink tea, or she could go for a walk around Rugeley.

The Monkey Trail extension is great fun so it would be worth it. You could do the first part of follow the dog, then on to the monkey trail and loop it twice, then finish off the rest of follow the dog including the new extension of that. That would be plenty as it would be ~20 miles, maybe more and not leave your other half waiting too long. I'm going up there again next Sunday all being well.
