GFI announce development of the sequel to a well-known tactical action - Cannon Fodder 3

Several military groups of Europe, Asia and Africa have made a military alliance to establish dictatorship by joint efforts. Your goal is to stop them at any cost… Even with a price of thousands lives of soldiers named “cannon fodder”, who are ready to die everywhere and every time it’s needed. ‘Cause it’s their work.

You have a small army which consists of only “cannon fodder” soldiers, who are ready to rush into fight with the enemy, sparing neither effort nor oneself. The player will have to pass several episodes full of cartoon violence among different locations, and the Earth is not the limit – it’s time to go into open space and show the enemy “who’s daddy”.

You’ll get classic isometric environment in full 3D, weather effects, change of time, destructible environment, physical water – all this and a lot more you’ll find in Cannon Fodder 3.

Cannon Fodder 3 is currently under development for PC and Xbox 360 platforms under Codemasters’ license.

Can't see them not cashing in on this globally though, I'm not really concerned.
 
I fondly remember when I got Cannon Fodder 1 for my Amiga as a kid.....

It wouldnt work, all I got was a black screen after putting the disk in :(

It had to be returned.
 
nooooooooooooo PLEASE don't ruin this childhood gem of mine! THEY BETTER DO IT RIGHT!!!!

Still got my amiga 500 + cannon fodder floppy disks. Hated the snow levels, but ultimately it was the desert levels that were my undoing most of the time :D Only ever got to the fortress levels twice :(
 
Anyone else used to try there absolute hardest to get jools and joops to survive as long as possible?

I'm sure i remember restarting the game when they died once or twice just to try and get them further :p

yup, and when they eventually succumbed to the inevitable, they had huge gravestones compared to every body else :p

Remember getting them really far once, and thinking to myself "right, can't let them die, i'll leave them at the start area" Wandered off with the other 3 troopers to try and do the rest of the mission....

They both got killed by rogue troops just wandering towards them when i wasn't looking :( i was muchos disapointed.
 
What the hell have they done, it's a damn cartoon!

It looks bloody terrible, why can't companies just stop breaking classics !
