Not sure if this should go here, but purchased a new Acer ES1-531 laptop yesterday. Spent all day connected via Ethernet this then morning thought I'd use it as a laptop! Trying too connect to my Wifi but just says "Cannot connect to this network". My password is fine, entered a fair few times to no avail. Please help, do not want to send it back!

EDIT: Think I need to update my wireless driver, but which one do I pick? I'm assuming it's Atheros as under my system it says Qualcomm Atheros.

Wireless LAN Atheros Wireless LAN Driver (WB335 Liteon)

Wireless LAN Atheros Wireless LAN Driver (WB335 HAI)

Yeah, windows 10. Not that I can see, but I think I need to update my drivers with the above but not sure which one? Liteon or HAI.

Installed the drivers and WiFi connects. I'm now getting constant WiFi drop outs on it. My other devices are all fine, any ideas?

Maybe download and try slimdrivers to check for updates. Always works well for me. Once done you can unistall. Make sure you untick any boxes that allow the install of "other great products".

Good Luck

Thanks mate, when installing new wifi driver, I only get three options - Modify/Repair/Remove, which should I pick?

EDIT: Tried Modify and it asked for a setup disk so guessing I should just do repair.
EDIT 2: So I cancelled the installation and restarted. Rescanned the laptop and now the Wifi update isn't there?
