cannot copy : data error (cyclic redundancy check) keeps coming up when i'm transfering my music from one hard drive to another can i override it so it copys it or any idea's

Damaged discs or corrupt files. I had this constantly happen ... turned out 1 mp3 was corrupt

Yeah, first port of call would be a checkdisk/scandisk or whatever disk scanning software you prefer.
