cannot drag and drop

I've noticed that I can no longer drag and drop things into certain windows anymore. For example I cannot drag attachments onto a new email in thunderbird, nor can I drag files into dreamweaver or firefox.

I'm running Vista and the problem developed a few weeks back, it wasn't like this previously and I'm wondering perhaps I have changed some security feature with the CP? Is anyone aware of how I can resolve this issue.

i doubt it's a security setting although admittedly i don't know for sure. how about creating a new user account and testing with that.

arh I have no idea either just thought someone might be familiar - I'll log in as someone else and try it next reeboot. Thanks marc

I had this at work on NT but it might be applicable, its usually due to account permissions AFAIK, and being in the correct groups etc.
