Behind you... Naked!
This is a silly issue that I dotn ge tthat often, just a few distros now and then.

Currently its doing it with the Latest NetRunner, but it was fine with v15

Im currently trying to install
netrunner-desktop-1701.2-64bit.ISO

In a VM, its fine, but when I tried my usual Linux PC, it failed.

What it does, is it boots fomr the Flash drive ( or DVD ) and then as it gets on its way, it decides that it cannot find a live system to boot from??

I have read a few places that this only happens on Gigabyte Mobos and there are a few tricks to overcome this issue, but none of the fixes fixes a thing, and today, I had a play with my Asrock Mobo and that does the same thing, and so its not just a gigabyte issue at all?

Anyhoo. does anyone here know about this issue, and, just as important, do you know of a fix that actually works?

Dont know in all honesty.

I do default to boot from BIOS first, but I also know that UEFI is enabled.

I dont bother with EFI under Linux as it whines about wanting an efi FAT32 partitions and I cant be bothered eith it, plus its more risks to go wrong, but I cannot on my Motherboards actually disable it as such, I can only boot with it or not boot with it and I chose to install and boot without.

ADDITIONAL:

I have gone through a few Motherboards purely ina test to see if the Flash drive will boot at all and yes, it does boot on a couple of boards, and I am doing nothing further than just that on those... As I said, I wanted it on the ITX Setup to play with.

I will have a scout around inside these 2 ITX Boards to se if I get anywhere... They are both EFI boards, but the AsRock is proper UEFI with the full Graphical interface etc ( as opposed to just EFI I mean? )
