I need to try running Crysis in compatibility mode as whenever I try to add AA the game just closes to windows and tells me it stopped working.

Thing is, my compatibility tab seems to have ceased to exist.
I right click on the .exe and select properties, but it just isn't there! This happens with every .exe I have; not just Crysis

Thanks in advance, and please: no hateposts about the game :D

EDIT: Ok that's weird, now I'm suddenly getting a completely different window when I select properties; one that does include compatibility mode. Ignore this thread ^^

EDIT2: I know what I did wrong before. Unfortunately the problem still resides :(

This could be a Crysis issue rather than a compatability issue. Never had that problem myself [I run Windows 7 too] with Crysis.

I would first check my GPU drivers - make sure you grab the latest ones if you don't have them already. Reinstall them even if you do.

Try searching for the error on Google.

Apparently it's a problem with Crysis' 1.21 patch so I'll just reinstall the game and start a new save file. I don't think I really need the patches for single player anyway, I'll check the notes though. :s

They made a few minor tweaks to the weapons and enemies, but to be honest I never saw any real difference.
