Hi all I need a little advice I currently have an Asus hero vll z97 motherboard and have a i7 4790k CPU which I have overclocker to 4.7ghtz with vcore at 1.295v it seems fine temps at idle are around 29 deg rising to around 60deg gaming etc. I have a question about adaptive sync setting once I enable it in bios pc bluescreens when starting windows. I have seen a few overclocking guides that state after you have a stable overclock enable adaptive..any ideas guys ? I wanted to use adaptive to reduce vcore when idle etc

Thanks fellas I tested with a short run of prime95 and 20 runs of intelburn test temps hit over 80degrees but everyday real world usage with a couple if hours gaming etc temps were around 65deg max.
I got adaptive voltage to work but vcore fluctuated slightly over 1.3v so I have decided to settle with 4.6ghz dropped vcore to around 1.270v and ran an hour's prime95 no bother temps were around 75degrees real world temps down to under 60degrees now. I think I will settle for that
