as the title says, no matter how many times i apply this effect, turn it off then on, etc, it just doesnt go on. chrome now looks horrible 
anyone got any ideas?

the old turn off and turn on has fixed this. however, since i get this problem a lot if anyone can think of a way to fix it i'm all ears
