Cannot install drivers with 8800 gts

I keep getting this error

"he Nvidia setup program could not locate ant drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

Tried the installation cd and the forcware drivers same thing.

The card is seated properly and has downloaded the 8800 gts drivers from the Microsoft site and is working but I cannot get the latest drivers to install, ideas?
