Cannot install Vista with o/b graphics

Hi guys,

Have a PC here that I was unable to update the drivers for the o/b graphics controller for. It's an Intel 82945g on a D945GCL motherboard (emachines PC).

I resorted to a clean install but this would fail, the system recovery would fail with the same error.

When using a PCIE graphics card there are no issues.

Would you agree the o/b graphics has had it?

The options in the BIOS I do not fully understand. DVMT, Fixed or Both with regards to how it operates?

Can anybody enlighten what DVMT and both refer to, I realise it's reserved memory size for the onboard GPU but I don't know what effect the settings have.

Tried those drivers.

It's odd Vista will install with a different card but not when using the o/b card.
