Cannot install W7

I have just built a new computer,

AMD Phenom 940
2 x 2GB Grucial 1066
2 x 2 WDC 250GB HD's
Asus M3A79T-DL mobo.
2 x DVDRW's

I have tried to install W7 on my new computer, I have two of them, both 64bit.

I have tried both SATA DVDRW drives also a USB DVDRW and an IDE DVDRW.

It loads the drivers and you then get the wallpaper then nothing, the same happened with all four drives that I used.

I put a Mandriva DVD in and installed that with no problems.

I know the one W7 disk is OK because I have it installed on my test machine.

Any one got any thoughts on this.

Try stopping the automatic installation of drivers and install some generic ones yourself - sounds like it could be a driver compatibility issue?

Its all sorted now.
Apparently someone on another forum said they had the same problem, and just to leave it on the wallpaper, and after about five minutes it started to install.
