Because when I try the following error complains I do not need to install it because it is included in windows Vista? suffice it to say i do not have it installed.

Edit: sorted it by dwnloading Microsoft Security essentials as a whole again. Had to initially delete it as it was preventing me from choosing which startup programs I wanted to disable.
