I found this rather peculiar,
First I thought it was a batch virus, but then I haven't been downloading anything on the computer recently at all.
I got home last night played some RIFT online, went to bed, started up the computer today and noticed that startup, my msn loads, steam loads etc all of this without a problem.
But after I try and close an application and re-open it, it will appear in the task manager and use only 104k memory but never appear as an opening application in windows.
I've literally tried everything and it's not working what so ever.
I've checked my start-up incase someone thought it'd be funny to drop a file on my computer but nothing. I've done a virus scan using Kaspersky, nothing either.
I can execute files from steam without a problem, but I cannot open up Firefox, Chrome or anything of the sort...
Internet Explorer works fine though...
If I go to task manager and then kill explorer.exe and then try to start it up again, it will only use 104k memory and never start up again...
Any ideas, aside from a complete system installation...
Regards
