Just tried to install bootcamp and while trying to partition the HDD it gave me the message that some files could not be moved and to back up my disk then format it to a mac extended journal or something, anyone got this message before?

Yep.

I had the same message :(

In the end, I had to wipe and reinstall, then bootcamp worked.

There wasn't any way around it.

So... Backup... reinstall.

aw man, all this just to play 'shot-online' lol.
so how do i go about backing up the system?

i just tried parallels but i doubt it will run the game smoothly as a 3d gfx are needed.

I have a .Mac account, so I used "Backup" which is included.

Other than that.. not sure... but I'm sure there is something on versiontracker.com for mac backup?

If you have an external drive, you can just use SuperDuper to clone your drive. Then format the internal drive and just copy the bits and bobs you need from the external drive (don't clone it back or else you will end up with the same non-journaled filesystem).

i dont think the trial actually let you back up, the trial only comes with limited features of the proper account.
I cant be bothered to back it up, i guess ill jus have to live without windows ;)
