Cannot play any Unreal Engine 4 games with Radeon.

Games tried.

Borderlands 3.
Soul Calibur 6.

Both crash with the same stupid fatal error. No other games on any other engine crash.

WHY?

Have you tried completely uninstalling your drivers and reinstalling them?

Just tried briefly running in Ark Survival (which I think is also UE4?) and, apart from ramping up the temperature, it was OK for me. Are you running an overclock? If so, try creating a profile for those two games so the card is stock when they run.

I am going to reinstall Windows. Ran sfc/ scannow and found corruption.

I am at work right now so will oet the Windows installer run when I get home

I always so a clean install of windows when switching from Nvidia to Radeon or vice versa. Never have problems

Nothing but BSOD now.
Clean Windows install, latest WHQL AMD driver.

5 monites in each time. BSOD. Service_exceptiin.

Software related BSOD according to "whocrashed".

Completely unusabklle PC again.

Reset the bios, undervolted CPU.
Turned off Freesync.
Installed chipset drivers.
Turned off HD audio and onboard LAN on mobo.

All seems ok for now.

Never a problem here, AMD CPU and GPU for a long time now and no problems with any unreal game. Looks like something got bored as your sound drivers being disabled has solved the problem
