Cannot post after raising the nb frequency - help

So i made one last tweak by uping my cpu north bridge frequency and now i cant even get into the bios. The system was 100% stable before this too.

I've tried to clear the cmos by using the jumper and by removing the battery but no luck

My board is a gigabyte 970a ds3p if this helps.

I was using stock voltage to the nb and 1.4 to cpu (8350). So surely i cant of killed it!

Can anybody advise of what to do next, short of chucking it in the sea that is

did you forget to remove power cable from psu when cmos battery was removed?

Phew, sorted. I hadn't seated the battery back properly. Panic over :|
