Cannot POST consistently on new build

Hi,

I am having trouble with my new build.

1) I'm getting the double boot problem which I understand can be fixed if I update the BIOS.

2) I can't get the system to POST. After numberous reboots the system may show a POST screen and allow me to reach the BIOS settings but most of the time it shows a abit logo which fills the screen and prompts to type Tab or Del to access BIOS. However it does not respond to any keypresses. Sometimes I will hear the normal one beep when booting but this still does not allow POST.
Resetting the CMOS does not help.

when you do get it to post, i recommend putting the voltage up on the RAM. Most Geil likes 2.1volts - check the sticker to see. Try booting with 1 stick in

Woo hoo! Disk Boot Failure!

I took out one stick, got into BIOS, changed the volts to 2.10 (as the stick indicates also) and now POSTing consistently.

Thanks a lot dude, now I can go to sleep and update the bios etc tomorrow.
