Hi,

I received a Titan 8700i Pulse today and followed the instructions on this forum to test whether overclocking was still applied, CPU-Z showed the core speed to remain the same whilst Prime95 ran the torture test.
I then followed the instructions to reapply the overclocking and re-ran the test but the core speed still remained at 3.4GHz

Any ideas about how I can get the OC profile to work? All help appreciated. :)

go into bios and load default, run test, post results, then go back into bios load OC then re run test and post results

i have a bundle from here also, a i7 one, results was so different when i did above, hope it helps you, if not i'll show you where to post and get better help

open up a question in there if it doesn't work, your own thread cant been seen by anyone apart from staff, so you will get a different answer to your question if above doesn't work etc

when you applied the OC in the bios, sorry to sound silly but did you save the setting and it rebooted?

with my Asus board it was one click then save, 5 seconds later im in windows as its that quick with sdd's but if it worked it shows a different clock in windows control panel home etc, a better score and a different speed, seems your profile hasn't been setup or something else it wrong, memory been altered etc?

as 3.40GHz is the default speed and yours was meant to be 4.40GHz at least, seems it hasn't either been setup, or memory has been altered or added etc, which throws the OC i hear, same as a bios update would

Yeah I saved and it rebooted when I exited the bios.
It shows the normal not OC'ed speed in control panel anything else that displays the cpu speed. I've posted on the private support forum though so just waiting for a reply. :)

good luck, they will sort it for you, hope you don't have to send it back, then at least you can enjoy it more now you have got it, it's a pain when things don't work right, but here at least you know it will get sorted
