My computer picked up a virus/trojan the other day and I promptly removed it using several different anti-spyware/virus programs to make sure it was gone. I'm pretty sure there is nothing left of it, but one problem it caused still remains.
The virus changed my wallpaper to a blank colour. I can set any picture as the wallpaper, but nothing changes and the desktop remains whatever colour is set in display properties with my actual wallpaper hidden behind it.
I've looked on countless websites and lots of people have had the same problem. Most of them solve it by editing the registry, however none of the suggested solutions work for me.
Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?
