Hmm, I have just freshly installed Ultimate on my computer. I had been using Home Premium and didn't have this problem.

I can connect/ping etc to other computers on my network, but they do not show up in Network. Only this Vista machine shows.

I have got all the discovery settings enabled. I have made sure I have jumbo frames is enabled on all machines like it usually is, no firewall or any other kind of security thing. So I am stumped

Anyone got any ideas? :)

Yeah - same subnet and workgroup. My Mac can see the Vista machine. I have added all the computers on my network into the hosts file aswell so dunno

Can you connect via UNC? \\192.168.10.1\c$ etc ? Guess you can looking above. Nothing to do with a firewall installed blocking standard Microsoft stuff?

Odd :S

Yeah I can see and connect and browse etc to all the drives of the computers on the network and can get to them using \\computername or \\ipaddress - I just can't see them in network.

Windows firewall and all that crap are disabled.
