I sold my O2 phone to a work college, it was on O2, she had it unlocked to work with Orange PAYG, here is the e-mail she sent me...
"Hi Darren,
Sorry to bother you, the phone is fab thanks again, however I can't send picture text messages. I realise its because I changed the network from o2 to Orange and nothing to do with the phone I was just wondering if you have any idea how I could fix it?
I've been onto Orange's website to register and had new settings installed, I've looked on the phone and the settings are now Orange rather than O2. I've also looked through the instruction book but I admit I'm not the brightest spark when it comes to technology! It may be something really simple, I was just hoping you may have come across this before? When I send a picture message it doesn't give me any confirmation but about 30 minutes later it tells me the message failed 'Internet profile error, please check your settings'
Any ideas?
Thanks Darren, your going to wish you never sold this to me!!!"
any ideas what could be causing the problem? i have told her to try phoning orange but they may not be helpful seeing as the phone did not come from them?
