Cannot set up iphone 4 account

After some googling it seems that there is a hard limit of 3 accounts per iphone!

Surely to god there has to be a way to reset this? i mean i cannot even set up the apple id that was on it before the reset! it just says limit reached.

Thanks... i came across that when i googled it. Seems only way is ask apple to do it, however they seem to want proof of ownership which of course i dont have. I got this phone second hand from a shop about 2 years ago.. reciept long lost to the mists of time.

Apparently after 90 days it allows another use. :rolleyes:

Seems to be something to do with not letting people have unlimited icloud backup using multiple accounts.

I managed to get into the phone by skipping account set up then just putting details in when first accessing the store. Cannot use icloud of course but not the end of the world i guess.

Of course this raises the question of second hand apple products now, chances are you cannot use cloud or set up without a pc etc.
