Cannot sign in to Xbox Live

Hi guys,

My 360 has decided it can't be bothered to sign into Xbox live. So, I go to the tests, and it passes every single test except the one entitled 'Xbox Live', which fails.

Any suggestions? It's plugged into the router via an ethernet cable. It's worked before..

I take it your Xbox360 is completely legitimate?

What status code do you have? did your gold live membership run out? is your console modded?

When it fails the test you should be able to press 'more info'. This will give you four status codes which you can post here and chuck into Google.

Yes its a completely legitimate 360.

For reasons which remain unclear it now works perfectly :confused:

Last night I couldnt login to Live either - I think the service is still a little rusty

Mine has just done the same thing. Went to browse and see what i could download and noticed that i was not logged in. Odd, but when i try and login then all i get is a spinning thing on the screen. Went and tested my settings and it all passed. I have tried restarting and still nothing. Will leave it for a bit and see later, but very odd.
Also i can login via the xbox website, so i take it this means that the account is active still...?

only had the xbox since Christmas so new to how all this works.

Mines is still disconnecting from time to time. Annoying

Mine was at points throughout this week, wasn't fun when playing PGR4 because some idiot decided that if your net connection dropped you had to go to the main menu again.

i had a random disconnect yesterday whilst playing blue dragon. not too worrying for me mind but i was thinking maybe they havent fully fixed the live issues they were having.

thats what i did in the end, restarted the router. Pretty odd though as it said that i was signed in but i could not access the market etc, just had the spinning dots round the xbox.

Seems ok now though.

I can't sign into my xbox live anymore, But I think it's because I cancelled it
