So after I gave my i7 build to my brother 9 months ago i went back to having the following build:

Intel Pentium D 820
Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI
2 x 1Gb Crucial DDR2 533MHz
2 x BFG 7600GT

Not going to lie, it sucked a little. I tried to get everything out of it i could.
Got the CPU to 3.4 but it runs HOT!

But when a PC struggles to run BF2142 without jumping you know you have a problem.

Enter Friday 12th November :D

More than a little excited:

No Issues here, the board looks awesome.

Thermolab Barum attaches nicely with some MX-2 thermal Paste. The Asus has an under board cushion so to speak. similar matieral to the foam on the Barum, made it slightly harder to attach.

HAF 922 Has so much space this was a doddle.

PSU slotted in quite nicely as well.

Out of interest does anyone think that as the HAF case has a huge 200mm fan on the top and a 120mm fan drawing air out of the back I would need to mount any fans on the cooler? If i left the i7 950 @ stock would temps be an issue?

The only downside of HAF 922 I can think of is that it gets dusty pretty quickly especially a few days after having cleaned it. My brother has Akasa Eclipse 62 and for some reason his stays clean whereas my HAF 922 is a dust magnet and the dust especially at the front part of the case ruins the military badass theme of it:(.

I did notice this, its lack of dust filters maybe an issue. Can you buy them at all? ones to cover the vents where the fans are?

Well After a very long Pizza / TV Break:

Speaks for itself! :)

The only Issue i have had is getting the OCZ SSD into the case. The 3.5 adapter which comes with it just doesn't fit into the holders the HAF 922 provides. They have clips in them which don't fit into the adapter.
In the end i screwed it in. No biggy.

I know neatness isn't 100% yet, but I want to make sure it works first.....

VICTORY! Windows 7 disc inserted and were going to install.
