Cannot update PSP

Ive been trying to update my sisters psp that she bought of ebay cos it wont allow her to play "disney pixar up"

The software ver currently on psp is 3.52 M33

Ive tried the latest version and a older version and it just restarts and says "psp game could not be started (dadadada)"

Any ideas why it wont update guys?

I think the game that wont work has the update on it, cos it asks me if I want to update, but it still wont update.
