I have an X570 Aorus Ultra, Ryzen 9 5900x, x4 Nvme Sabrent 2TB, three are using the motherboard's M.2 slots, one is using a PCIe adapter. I can see only three, the one with the PCIe adapter works if I remove another one. I also have two SATAs as system/OS disks. Any idea if it is possible to make 4 NVMEs work?

I says 6 sata and 3 M.2, the third one goes via the chipset, the other two, directly to the CPU. I did not see that by disabling the SATA controller I can get any extra M.2. I thought that M.2 was using the PCIe so I could use any PCI x4,8,16.

It might be worth checking the manual - the 3rd m.2 slot usually shares lanes with the sata ports or the 4x slot.

If your gpu is pcie 4.0, you could try using the 8x slot.

You may need your BIOS to support PCIE Bifurcation to split lanes if you want to run for example 2 NVMEs on an X8 slot?

If you're trying to use 4 M.2 drives and SATA, then make sure that the SATA drives are not connected to the 5th & 6th SATA ports. The manual states that the M2C socket, AKA the 3rd mobo M.2 slot shares bandwidth with 2 of the SATA ports.
