Hi all,
Looking to purchase a DSLR in the next few days. I've been doing quite a bit of research but am still not quite certain on what I want to go for.
Canon EOS 1300D Digital SLR + EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens - £330
Canon EOS 100D Digital SLR + 18-55mm IS STM Lens - £309
All of the shops seem to be advertising the 1300D as the beginner camera and the older 100D isn't mentioned too much. Though some people seem to recommend the 100D with its touch screen. My hands aren't exactly small so I might find that the 100D is just too tiny, but putting that aside for the moment.
The 100D has the STM lens and that is the main reason I'm leaning towards it over the 1300D which does not have the STM.
In addition I was thinking of getting a Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM (£165) as would like to try out some wide angle pictures.
Any thoughts please ?
