Just bought one of these of the bay £1568inc, would you imagine that the Body only means its the body only, as in on no Lens or body only as in no charger, battery, manual, software etc....

If its the latter its quite expensive as the charger only is £250 and batteries are £70each.

I`ve got 7 days to return it if it isnt full satisfactory, but im just wondering.

Its only money, not the be all and end all, and £1500 isnt a huge amount, ive made impulse purchases that make that look like pocket change, but as the Canon Outlet offer a very reasonable 7 day no question money back guarentee I felt quite happy to order, only really asked on here hoping folk like rpstewart who had purchased the same bundle before could give me a definate answer.

Its arrived, battery on charge now, I can comfirm that it comes everything you would expect from a new camera. It also included a DC coupler which means I can get playing straight away. :D

Im very happy with the price, considering I was prepared to pay £2400 for a 1DmkIIN and the only real improvement over the 1DmkII is the 2.5" screen, not many left on Ebay and the price is going up, the ones today have both gone for £1600+, the £800 saving ive made will go on replacing my 6x1gb extremeIII CF cards with some 4gb extremeIIIs and maybe a couple of 2gb SDs (seen as ive now got a slot to put them in).

The 8.5FPS really is impressive, now ive got to get myself some time to get to the track with it.

The weight doesnt seem to be an issue, doesnt seem much heavier then my 20D with its battery grip.

Only taken a few shots so far so not really got any decent samples... here are a couple I have taken to checkout the extremes, both link to FULL SIZE, 4mb Jpegs, no processing at all.

Canon 100-400L@100, F5.0, ISO 1600, 1/40th, low light. Focus not perfect.

Neat image cleans this up very well into a useable image

Canon 50, F1.8, ISO 100, 1/8000th, Quite Bright Sunlight.
