Canon 30D now in stock

I find it amazing that the thing was only announced after not one rumour, photo etc, and its already in the shops worldwide - in less than one month.

does look very nice indeed. ordered my 5d this morning though. got a fantastic deal. 5D, Grip, 77mm cp filter, 50mm F1.8 II, canon bp511a batt, e1 handstrap all delivered, no vat etc for £1811!!
then take off the 200 quid cashback..what a winner! the body alone is £1999 on the highstreet!

You should have been reading DPReview, Canon Forums etc... rumours and speculation were running since Dec 05.

That's the good thing with Canon, they anounce a products and it's the shops within a couple of months, Nikon on the other hand ;)

sure there was speculation, but only 'canon must be bring out a new model...its feburary soon' no details on the spec, model nam etc. people guessed but there wasnt a 'leak'

I've applied for some using the form they give you on the site. Hopefully RM will get them to me quicker than last time. They arrived after two months and looking like they had been mangled by a sorting machine.
