Hi All,

Well I got my hands on a Canon 350d yesterday and being a complete and utter newbie at photography, decided to take advantage of the good weather and head to the Lake District to see what I could come up with.

I haven't had a chance to put them in to Photoshop and play around with them yet but I’d just like to share them with you all to see if I can get any advice on how I can improve my photography skills.

Straight Horizons.

Rule of thirds. (Though definatly not always, rules are there to be broken)

Try looking in the stickies at the top of this forum. I like your shots, just not have much punch, that can be helped in photoshop.

Goes off to look at Stickies, thanks for the feedback and I know what you mean about lacking 'punch'. Hopefully everyone will be able to see an improvement in my shots over the coming months thanks for your reply :)
